FAQs
From what you get when you sign up to alternative paying in methods, we cover it all in answers to our frequently asked questions.
Do I need to fundraise on 25 April?
Our official Make Every Cuppa Count day is on 25 April, but you can choose any date to suit you.
What do I get when I sign up?
- A free fundraising pack in the post including a bone-shaped cookie cutter, edible dog nose cake toppers, fundraising guide, money box, puppy bunting and more!
- An online fundraising page to collect all your donations.
- Bespoke fundraising advice and support from our team.
When will my fundraising pack arrive?
We aim for our fundraising packs to arrive within 10 working days. If your pack doesn’t arrive on time – please get in touch on 0345 143 0192 or email fundraiseforus@guidedogs.org.uk
How do I get extra fundraising resources?
If your pack has arrived and you’re organising a large event or multiple events so need more, then get in touch. We’re here to help on 0345 143 0192 or email fundraiseforus@guidedogs.org.uk
Do I have to use my online fundraising page?
We’d recommend using your fundraising page - it is a great way to collect cashless and online donations, but it’s not compulsory.
Never had a fundraising page before, why not give it a try? Your page will automatically be created when you sign up to Make Every Cuppa Count. Share the link to your page via email, social media, WhatsApp or text to everyone you know, and you might be surprised at how easy it is for cashless donations at your event, or even support from those who can’t attend.
Can you help me with any issues on my JustGiving page?
Please contact JustGiving support where they have lots of helpful information, and you can contact them directly.
How do I set up a QR code for my fundraising page?
Simply add /qrcode to the end of your JustGiving page’s URL and hit enter. Your unique QR code will then show, ready for you to print or save. For example, justgiving.com/fundraising/MrFundraiser/qrcode
Print and add to event posters or place next to your money box so people can scan to donate at your event or bake sale.
Is there a fundraising target?
No. Big or small, every penny or pound will help. Raising just £80 could buy a puppy raising kit for the volunteers who look after our puppies during their first year. You could even put your funds towards our Puppy Graduation reward scheme for schools or even towards your Name a Puppy
fund.
How do I pay in my fundraising?
Pay in any cash donations to your online fundraising page from your own bank, or use one of our other ways to pay in.
- By card: Call us on 0800 953 0113 and make sure to tell us you’re paying in money from your fundraising over the phone or visit guidedogs.org.uk/payin to pay in online.
- By cheque: Send a cheque made payable to ‘Guide Dogs’ to Guide Dogs, Hillfields, Burghfield Common, Reading, RG7 3YG. Remember to include your details on the back of the cheque.

What is Matched Giving?
